        Olivier Detournay, PhD

Olvier holds a PhD in cellular therapies from the University of Brussels. He has been navigating between biomedical research and marine biology for more than twenty years. I has always considered that by drawing inspiration from the sea and more generally from nature, we could unravel certain obstacles that stand in the way of innovative therapies. He manages projects with very high added value, forges close links with research players in France and abroad in order to go faster, further. He has a real affinity for innovation, scientific promotion, for project management and interdisciplinary teamwork. His creative force allows him to approach things from original angles, to see meaning where others would only see chaos.

Annelise Bennaceur, MD, PhD, HDR

Annelise Bennaceur-Griscelli, MD,PhD is professor of Hematology at the Faculty of Medicine of Paris Saclay University. Physician and researcher Annelise Bennaceur Griscelli is specialist in stem cell biology and Onco-hematology. She obtained her PhD degree in Gustave Roussy Institute in stem cells and immunology. She was a pioneer in France in the derivation of the first lines of human embryonic stem cells. She was the co-director of the Inserm Unit UMRS935 for 15 years and she is the coordinator of the National Infrastructure ‘INGESTEM’ since 2012. She is currently Chief of the Onco-Hematology Genetics laboratory in Paris Saclay University, and the Director of CiTHERA (https://cithera-ipsc.com), a Center for iPS Cell Therapy for cGMP production of pharmaceutical iPS cell-based cell and gene therapeutic products against cancer. She brings 30 years of expertise in Cell therapy as a leader in translational research of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC).

Patrice Meunier, Ing, PhD

Graduate of the Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon and agrégé in physics, P. Meunier obtained his PhD in physics in 2001 and his habilitation to direct research (HDR) in 2009. Appointed CNRS research fellow in 2003, and then research director, he specializes in geophysical flows and the modeling of gas and solute mixing in fluids. Thanks to this expertise, he has filed several patents on mixing processes inspired by the earth’s precession, and is collaborating with SofCell Therapeutics to improve cell growth.

Ali Turhan, AIHP, MD, PhD, PU-PH

Ali Turhan, MD,PhD, is professor of Hematology at the Faculty of Medicine of Paris Saclay University. Physician and researcher, Ali Turhan is specialist in clinical hematology and oncology. He obtained a PhD degree in Vancouver (British Columbia University) in the field of stem cells. He held successively the position of Directeur of Cell therapy center at Gustave Roussy fore 10 years, co-Director of Inserm Unit UMRS935 and Chief of Hematology Division in Paris Saclay University. He is currently Director of Inserm Unit UMRS1310 “Malignant and Therapeutic Stem Cell models”. He brings 35 years of medical and scientific expertise in onco-hematology, targeted therapy and cell-based therapies.

Eric Rottinger, PhD

Is a CNRS Director of Research and Team leader at the Institute for Research on Cancer and Aging in Nice (Université Côte d’Azur, CNRS, INSERM). He has a long-lasting experience in developing marine organisms for fundamental and biomedical research as well as for innovation. Eric is also director of the Federative Research Institute for Marine Resources from the Université Côte d’Azur as well as co-founder and president of the non-profit organization Kahi Kai (one ocean in hawaiian) that thrives to promote the importance of marine organisms as source of inspiration for therapies.
